Winter food for medium sized koi
- Complete feed containing the correct protein/lipid ratio of 2/1 taking into account the NEO Index, water temperature, feed function, animal size and age.
- Contains wheat, salmon, fish oil, shrimp and corn for vigorous and healthy koi (water temperature 5 to 15 °C).
- Size M (6 mm) food for fish from 35 to 55 cm.
- Sinking food pearls containing 18% protein, 11% fat, 2% crude fiber, 6% crude ash.
- Food pearls in resealable bag, airtight, watertight and lightproof to preserve their quality.
NEO-Index literally means: Natural Energy Optimised Nutrition. Behind this term lies the ratio of protein to fat in the food. If only the season were taken into consideration, fish would only need half the protein (2/1) in winter that they need in summer (4/1). However, since it is not only the season, i.e. the water temperature, that plays a decisive role, but also the size and age of the animal, as well as the function of the food (e.g. growth food = ProPond Growth), JBL has developed the NEO-Index, which combines all these characteristics in one
allegation.
