This altar was designed and manufactured in Japan with soft and relaxing lines in order to create a space of peace and harmony in your home, for example in the place where you practice meditation, introspection or silence...
Wooden altar made by skilled Japanese craftsmen. The thin beech wood slabs are bent using a clever steam process. Steel molds are used to create the delicate shapes you can admire.
The finishing that is done before the wood dries and hardens, requires great skill on the part of the craftsman. Since the raw material used is natural wood, it is possible that the color and grain may vary from one element to another. At the end of the manufacturing process, the wood undergoes a fire retardant treatment.
Three beautiful glass objects with clean and pleasant lines: a small vase, an incense holder and a candle holder. Each piece is handmade using artisanal techniques that date back to the Edo period (1603-1868). A frame where you can place an image or photo that inspires you (your spiritual master or the Buddha for example).
A box of Japanese incense, the Perfume of the Forest. This is a soothing, fresh and subtle aroma that is made from essential oils of chamomile, sage and lavender. It has been specially designed to calm the body and mind. This incense emits very little smoke and leaves no ash. Each stick has a slight notch in its center so that you can cut it in 2 if you wish. 130 sticks, duration of approximately 20 minutes. 60 candles, duration of approximately 10 minutes.
Ashes for incense holder, 20 g.
